Today was a long day. We (as in Chris and I knocked out a lot of stuff. He went to yet another school meeting. He was so sweet and let me sleep in and tended to the school stuff. Then when he got home we had coffee and chatted. After a hour or so of chatting and planning we decided to get to work. I tackled our room and he tackled the trailer. I thought our room would be a breeze to get done, considering I had all ready deep cleaned it, but it wasn't. I kept finding stuff that had to be weeded through and was like for real, where the heck did this stuff come from. So I would take a break and tackle the bathroom. That was a whole other project all in it's own. Chris would come in and check on me and be like, are you done yet?? I would say far from it. He then asked me if I wanted to take a break and run to the store with him, so I did. I needed a breather. When we returned he finished the trailer, getting the lights wired etc.... I am so proud of him. As for our room I just about got it done. Not quite finished but almost.
We did however take a pretty good size run to Value Village. I was happy to see it go, but after loading it all up, it still didn't like we even made a didn't even make a dent, but I know in the long run we did. Tomorrow we will start to move stuff out of storage and reload it back up with boxes etc......
After our long day Chris had some steaks that had been marinating over night in terriaky and I made some rice in our rice cooker, it turned out fabulous. While he cooked the steaks I went and showered off. I was covered in dust and dirt. I used my homemade sugar scrub and it was fabulous. I found a really great simple homemade recipe for sugar scrubs on line and I absolutely love it. And to make it even better it is so cheap to make\, instead of having to pay $20.00 at bath and body works. Props to for finding it for me Google.
Missing: The daily call from my sister to get the agenda for the day.
Looking forward to: The move to be here and get on the road.
