Unbelieveable

So we don't have cable right now and I recently heard about the 10 week year old infant that was killed by his father out in Ferndale, WA. I was just appalled when I heard this. I was like who in their right mind could do such a thing. I really didn't know to much of the story, one of my clients works for the city and was on the case the whole weekend, we talked about it when she came in. Come to find out that the dad didn't even confess until like four days later, after the police department had put out a man hunt for the infants body. He claimed that someone had come and kidnapped his son, then he said that his wife who is serving time in prison, her family took him with out his knowledge. I guess he was feeling pretty guilty cause he soon confessed, he told the police after they found the infants body dumped out in the woods. How could someone take such an innocent little persons life like that? He was holding the infant by the foot and whacked it into the walls and so forth. Then after realizing what he had done just dumped the body out into the woods. How awful it that. I am not a mother yet but when I heard this I just wanted to puke. I just can't believe that this beautiful little boy never had a chance to live. He will never feel the wind on his face, or the warmth of the sun on his skin or the excitement of Christmas. It really aches my heart that so many innocent kids lifes are just snatched away for no reason. So to everyone out there, if you know a child who is truly being abused, do something about it. Before it's to late.
