I'm Engaged!!!!

Never thought it would happen, but the love of my life asked me to marry him on Saturday!! He planned to whole thing while he was out on the road ( he is a truck driver for all you who may not know) He was so cute. We went for a walk to my favorite place in Fairhaven. It's along the railroad tracks and about 1/2 a mile down it opens up into a small field, where there are huge rocks that edge the ocean!! It was a beautiful evening and sunny. We had dinner reservation at the Black Cat so we where alittle pressed for time. I said "Well babe we should get going, we can come down here another day when we have more time" and I turned to leave. He gently grabbed my arm, held both my hands and that's when I knew!! I had on sunglasses, I was like "Wait let me take off my glasses for this". He was so cute, and nervous! Almost like a 12 year old asking the hot girl in class to be his girlfriend. You know with the shoulders all scrunched up and swaying back and forth. He so stumbled over his words, he never does that. I was so caught up in him being nervous that I didn't get emotional. He said to me " I was wondering if you would do me the honor of becoming Mrs. Jones" I said " Of Coarse I will" Then we kissed and he put the ring on my finger!!! We walked back and headed off to dinner. On the way back to the car I sent a picture of my ring to my sis, but she didn't reply back so I called and no answer!!! I was bummed that she didn't hear her phone, she was the first on I wanted to tell and hear it from me, I figured my parents already knew. But then come to find out only my dad knew.

Anyhow we got to dinner and I knew that Chris probably invited my parents, to my surprise Chris had rounded up our closes friends and family. My two best friends Kaley Wilson and Kristin Peterson where there, my cousin Jamie and her boyfriend Josh, Chris's good friends Ed and Jen and April. It was so special to have my parents and all of our closets friends there and he got all of it together in two days over the road!! I have the most wonderful fiance in the world. I think I will keep him.
