Amen Sister

I literally just got done reading my sister's blog and let me say AMEN! It's funny because I just had this exact conversation with a client yesterday. To make a short conversation shorter, it came down to " Well if she isn't going to call me then I'm not going to call her" And let me tell you that comment didn't come from my end. Come on people how old are we. What it boils down to is, she is one of those people who says " Oh I was gunna " please how many times have I heard that. You know like those people who say that they are going to start their diet on " Monday" My actual best friend and I always for the last three years or more would invite her everywhere and what was the famous line " I was gunna come" or something always came up or " I should have called" Again please. I have three of my very best friends that live in California, we don't get a lot of time to talk, life happens. But when we do talk it's as if time hasn't pass, we call one another when we get the time, not making false promises. I am one of those people that if you say your going to call then freakin call. Don't make excuses. I am going to be 28 in April and I am on the same page as my sister! I am truly finding out who are my true friends. I just don't have time for fake people in my life, or people who make excuses! Here is what I have to say about that " Excuses are like assholes, everyone has one!" Ha take that possers. I also have learned to not take it so personal anymore. When my friends and I do get the time to go for coffee or lunch or whatever those are the times to just really cherish and soak up. I figure if you want to be in my life then be in my life and if you don't then don't take it personal if I don't put forth effort for you.
